Api (American Petroleum Institute) has represented the interests of all the oil business and first created oil classification groups in 1947.
Since the "S" and "C" categories were introduced about 1970, Api has worked closely with both Astm (American society for Testing and Materials) and Sae (Society of Automotive engineers) to stay on top of improvement of motor oils that meet the needs of changing performance demands.
In 1987 though, the Aam (Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers) told the Api they were not happy with the way Api went about approving new motor oils. Aam created a new committee called Ilsac (International Lubricants standardization and Approval Committee)
Ilsac is made up of nine Oem's from both North America and Europe and the most recent Ilsac accepted is called Gf-5, an revision of the old Gf-4 generally aimed at improving motor oil fuel economy benefits and oil robustness and protecting complicated new emissions systems.
As of this writing the Api's most new categories are "Sn" and "Sn resource conserving" which apply to gasoline powered passenger cars and light trucks.
Api "Sn" introduced October 1st, 2010 matches Ilsac Gf-5 fairly closely.
In 2010 though normal Motors introduced its own motor oil specification straight through the Dexos 1 oil licensing program and consumers driving model year 2011 and newer Gm vehicles will have to use a motor oil recommended for Dexos 1 applications.
Dexos 1 has performance features that exceed those requirements of Api Sn/ Ilsac Gf-5 in some areas and are less exact in others.
Dexos 1 requires performance to be enhanced over what Api Sn/ Ilsac Gf-5 requires in the following areas; motor sludge protection, volatility, piston cleanliness, turbo charger protection, resistance to oxidative thickening, wear protection, seal compatibility, and corrosion protection.
Dexos 1 requirements for emissions systems durability, fuel economy and E-85 emulsion holding (use with gasoline containing alcohol) are somewhat less than what Api Sn/ Ilsac Gf-5 require.
The Dexos 1 licensing program requires motor oil business to pay a licensing fee to normal Motors to use the Dexos1 popular ,favorite logo; essentially production the sale and use of Dexos 1 motor oils a profit center for Gm and increasing the cost of the oil.
Early on the plan Gm had for the Dexos 1 licensing program required motor oil business and end-sellers alike to pay a per-quart fee to Gm for every bottle of Gm Dexos popular ,favorite oil sold.
In actual implementation though I believe this has changed to a flat fee per year for manufacturers and end-sellers. Since I'm not privy to Gm's decisions and because the Dexos 1 licensing program is still evolving and has changed more than once since its inception only Gm and the manufacturers/ end-sellers who have entered the program know the actual fee's that add to the retail price of Dexos 1 motor oil.
While a quite a few motor oil business have started production oil that meets the Dexos 1 specification, at the time of this writing any whole of motor oil manufacturers together with Valvoline and Amsoil have balked at paying this fee saying it does nothing for the consumer but drive up the cost of the oil and are refusing to join Gm's program.
The reality for the consumer is that as long as the motor oil you select says that it is formulated for the Dexos 1 spec you are covered even if the builder has not purchased the right to use the Dexos 1 popular ,favorite fastener (paid Gm's licensing fee)
Dan Peterson, Amsoil Inc Vice President of Technical improvement stated in a new interview that while each of the specifications outperforms the other in some safe bet areas that Amsoil has formulated its full artificial motor oils to exceed the requirements of Api Sn, Ilsac Gf-5 and Gm Dexos 1 in all areas.
Currently Amsoil Oe and Xl, 5W/30 full artificial motor oils meet and exceed Dexos 1 requirements and Amsoil plans other such products for 2011.
Amsoil Inc. Introduced the first full artificial motor oil to meet American Petroleum construct requirements in 1972. Today Amsoil is thought about the world leader in artificial motor oils and lubricants.

1. Checking the springs on your stable door is the first thing you must do. On a sectional door, the springs are settled on the header, above the door. Look for the long torsion tube that spans the width of the door, the springs should be right in the middle. Some doors can have up to 4 springs per door. 3. The third thing you can do is to check your cables. The door cables are settled on each side of the door and are related to the torsion tube. Does the cable look like it is out of sync or not wound up correctly? another easy way you can tell your cable is broken is that your door will look crooked in the opening.
4. The last thing you can do is to see if you have power going to your motor. It is quite common to have a fuse in your circuit breaker go bad. If your motor is not operating at all when you click on the wall button or your transportable remotes, this might be the problem. Check your circuit breakers, plug another source into the outlet and if needed call an electrical technician.

Bingo Volleyball
For the first of these fun volleyball drills you will need a large sheet of white paper and a black marker. Begin by brainstorming a list of some of the crucial skills and moves that your players need help with such as excellent dig, block, spike, etc. Once you've come up with at least 25 draw a bingo card on the sheet of paper, filling each of the squares with one of the skills and post it next to the court.
Now divide your team into groups of six for scrimmage. The teams play against each other as if it were a quarterly match with one key difference: each time they successfully execute one of the aforementioned moves, they earn that spot on the bingo card. Players must call the move before the execute it to earn the spot on the card.
The goal is to make a line of 5, at which point all members of the team must yell "Bingo". This game causes players to come up with a game plan that successfully incorporates the considerable moves to make a line of 5, which can often be radically dissimilar from their general game plan.
Hit the Deck!
When searching for fun volleyball drills remember that the emphasis does not all the time have to be on hitting the ball. Volleyball requires many other skills that are often less recognized, such as the potential to drop and hit the floor without fear or hesitation. The following drill, which we call "Hit the Deck", will help your players overcome that hesitation.
Begin by having your players jog on the spot. whether at the sound of your whistle or when you yell the words "Hit the Deck", all players must drop to the floor instantly. If you'd like to up the competitive spirit of the drill, you can impose a rule where the last player to hit the floor is out.
Building Defensive Toughness
The third of the fun volleyball drills I like to use to convert up my practice routines is a simple inequity on 2-on-6. For this drill, one team has 6 players and the other has only 2. To begin with, have the strongest players on your team as the outnumbered ones.

By 1997 he was moved to the New York office where he was one of the senior agents in payment of counterterrorism and national security. In 1998, two United States Embassies were bombed in quick succession one in Nairobi, Kenya, and the other in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. O'Neil immediately put his hand up to say he was willing to be complicated in the investigation as he already had vast knowledge of Islamic militants. However, citizen high up in Washington were beginning to tire of O'Neil's successes and ways of obtaining data which one has to ask why! O'Neil was excluded from the Embassy bombings investigation and in his place, inferior and much less knowledgeable agents with no touch of the region were sent to "'pick up leads'' O'Neil was infuriated by this as he felt he could fast track the investigation but to no avail.

It was at this time things started to get confusing. O'Neil was accused of "'losing a briefcase'' of very classified documents at a Fbi argument when he "'popped outside'' from a room with over 350 Fbi agents to hear a badly related cell phone call. When he returned minutes later the case was gone. Strangely enough, the portfolio "'turned up'' a few hours later with nothing missing or even touched! Forensic prognosis proved this, as the papers were so very sensitive they were subjected to tests. One has to ask, how could a portfolio be "'stolen'' in the midst of 350 Fbi agents? Oh, one may think; must have been a mistake, wrong bag picked up by the wrong person, but if that was the case why was the bag returned anonymously? Why did no one own up to the taking of the bag if it was a genuine error? He was then accused of being "'negligent'' after "'losing a cell phone'' and a "'Palm''. O Neil said that he never "'lost'' Whatever and if Whatever went missing it was taken by citizen that knew it was there.
He was then subjected to a series of "'internal Fbi investigations'' Colleagues of O'Neil came to his defence and suggest that he was the victim of a "'senior'' smear campaign and that he had "'worried'' citizen about "'what he had learned '' while in Yemen. ultimately O'Neil was forced into resigning from the Fbi after constant hounding from his superiors and bypassing O'Neil when he should have been promoted. O'Neil knew his vocation with the Fbi had come to a very dead end. But while he was contemplating his leave from the Fbi he was "'headhunted'' by Jerome Hauer.
Hauer was a national security advisor with the Dept. Of health and Human Services and also the managing director with Kroll company a company that specializes in security and terrorism prevention. Hauer had a solid background in counter-terror and a specialized knowledge of biological warfare.
Hauer had previously been employed by his pal Mayor Giuliani from 1996 to 2000 as the director of The office of emergency Management. Hauer came up with a job for O'Neil. Hauer told O'Neil that his "'client'' Larry Silverstein wanted him to be Chief of security at the Wtc, this was now the end of August 2001. You are baptized with the Holy Spirit and it becomes your spiritual conscious. Being filled with the spirit of God motivates you to want to read the Bible, pray and walk in the way of the Lord. It is a lot like a muscle that needs developed within us. The more we exercise or grow in faith the more we become filled with the spirit.
To tie it all together...You are baptized into the Spirit of God and that Holy Spirit motivates and guides your actions and thoughts much like a conscious. This drill, which is a distinction on the pepper drill, allows players to work on a range of skills, the most important of which being ball control.
For this drill divide your team into partners that should stand practically 10-20 feet apart on whether side of the net. Each pair gets one ball. The drill begins with player 1 giving a hard down ball towards player 2. Player 2 is to dig the ball up high, then tomahawk it using overhead contact, then hit the ball with just their left fist, then just their right fist, then set the ball up to themselves, then finally hit a down ball over the net for their partner to repeat the series of hits.
Start this drill off slowly then slowly growth the speed as players become more familiar with the order of the skills and the whole of power critical to continue to hit the ball to themselves.
Back Row Elimination
The next fun youth volleyball drill that can be used to break up your convention disposition is a game-play type drill where players are eliminated one by one. This drill requires 4 players on whether side of the net: 3 back row players and 1 setter. The coach or someone else player stands off to the side of the net and initiates the drill with a down or free ball.
The back row player who receives the down or free ball passes it to the setter, who sets the ball for a back row attack. The back row player who receives the set must hit it to the team on the other side, or else they are eliminated from the game. If the ball successfully makes it over to the back row of the other side of the net, the player who receives it may whether pass it to the setter or else try to hit it over the net to the opposing team's back row, risking elimination from the game.
Play continues in this manner until only 1 back row player remains on whether side of the net. These 2 players are the winners and become the new setters for the next round of the game.
